What Is The Fronto Lock Screen?

The Fronto Lock Screen is an Android app that pays you to unlock your phone screen. There are a few other ways to earn points as well but unlocking your phone is something you’d do anyway, and we believe in monetizing things you’re already doing.

No, Apple doesn’t allow a third-party application to take over the lock screen like Android does. If you have an iPhone, you won’t be able to take advantage of lock screen apps to make a few extra bucks a month.

Fronto Lock Screen Pros And Cons

The pros for the Fronto Lock Screen app consist of getting paid for something you’re already doing. The cons lists are much longer.

You get so many fewer points if you don’t interact with the ad that it might make you interact with ads on purpose. We’re a big fan of monetizing your life, but not at the expense of spending more time on apps.

Another big negative is that some ads don’t give any points at all, even if you do interact or swipe on the ad. This is because the Fronto Lock Screen app has to get advertisers to pay them for ads so they can pay you. If they don’t have enough ads for app users, they’ll insert a random app that doesn’t pay.

As of December 2018, we saw the Fronto Lock Screen app has moved off of the Google Play store and into a separate third-party site. While we don’t know why this happened, we don’t think it is a good sign.

We’ve gone over the reviews on the Google Play store before it disappeared and are worried over a couple of reviews that say that app stopped paying out.

Why We’re Passing On The Fronto Lock Screen

We were excited to find another lock screen app, but we think you should pass on this one.

The Fronto Lock Screen app is unable to be found on the Google Play store anymore. We’re not sure if it has been delisted or just deactivated on the Android platform. The app is still available through a third-party download site, but we’re not going to risk downloading it because Google screens all apps for malware and viruses, and we’re not sure if we can trust the third-party download site.

If you’re looking for a lock screen app that pays you a fixed amount each day no matter how many times you unlock your phone each day, check out the S’more app instead.
