InboxDollars Paying You To Open PaidEmail

InboxDollars will send you emails tailored to your profile. You get 1 cent for opening emails that get sent 4 times a day to your inbox. This is why we recommend creating a separate email for all your survey, search engine, and money making tips.

InboxDollars PaidEmail

If you open all 3 emails per day, you’ll get $1 per month or $12 per year just from opening the emails.

To start getting emails, you’ll have to activate your PaidEmail settings to receive emails to your inbox by clicking on a confirmation button on an email sent to you. If you don’t want to get these emails anymore, you can always hit unsubscribe.

You also get paid 2 cents for logging in each day.

InboxDollars Search Engine

InboxDollars PaidEmail

You get rewarded with scratch cards that are at least a 1 cent prize for each search per day. You also get a 5 cent bonus if you search more than 4 out of 7 days a week.

Gold members get a 10 cent bonus instead of a 5 cent bonus.

InboxDollars Survey Portal

Like all survey sites, you’ll get screened out occasionally for surveys. Be sure to answer the questions on your profile honestly if you’re looking to do surveys and get screened out less than usual. Each survey will show the estimated amount of time you need to finish the survey, the actual payout, and topic.

InboxDollars is a survey aggregator, so they take surveys from a bunch of other sites and put them all in one place to make it easier for you to complete more.

InboxDollars Surveys

If you ever get screened out, you get Billy’s sweepstakes spins as a consolation prize. I’m not sure why they’re called Billy’s Spin To Win. Prizes from the sweepstakes spins range from 25 cent bonus survey prizes on your next survey, cash, or more spins in the future.

InboxDollars Survey Tokens

Other survey sites still pay out in actual cash even when you get screened out. If you’re looking for those sites, check out Survey Junkie, Swagbucks, and Mypoints.

Survey payouts seem to range from $0.25 and usually take at least 10 minutes or longer.

InboxDollars Surveys

InboxDollars pays out in actual dollars versus just points like most other survey sites.

Watch Videos And TV On InboxDollars

Just like Swagbucks and Mypoints, you can get paid for watching TV and videos. If you’re really into earning extra income from your computer, you can set up all three sites to be playing video. You can mute them all so you don’t have to listen to them.

Watch TV and Get Paid On InboxDollars

InboxDollars makes money from you watching the videos and seeing ads, and then gives you part of that money.

It looks like you earn a cent for watching 3 videos in a row, so you could almost make $0.50-$1 per day watching videos on mute.

InboxDollars is the only website I know of that pays you to listen to the radio, though.

InboxDollars Offers And Email Newsletters To Make Money

There are small payouts from $0.25 to joining another company’s newsletters (don’t worry you can unsubscribe later) to several dollars if you sign up for a trial period for a product. Stamps.com will pay you $10 to sign up for a free trial. Make sure to cancel before the first month if you don’t want it, because the monthly subscription cost is $15.99. eBay will pay you $6 through the website to sign up.

A lot of the offers are for trial periods of a paid subscription. There are a lot of people who forget to cancel their trial subscription, so make sure to set a reminder to cancel if you don’t want that subscription! Don’t try to make $5 on a $15 subscription if you’re the type of person who will forget to cancel!

InboxDollars had a partnership with Groupon where if you spent $20, you’d get $5 back.

Use InboxDollar’s Coupons Tab

Groupon, Coupons, and Shopping On InboxDollars

If you use Ibotta [$10 Bonus] to get cashback on your groceries, you might love this section.

InboxDollars also has a coupon section where you get paid to print out and use coupons. InboxDollars has a partnership with coupons.com, and InboxDollars pays you 10 cents per coupon you redeem. You’ll have to verify your phone number first before using them, but you can create a phone number with Google Voice so you don’t get random texts or phone calls.

Other survey sites that also have an offer and paid coupon tab consists of Swagbucks and Mypoints.

Specific offers that InboxDollars has:

  • Get $20 when you donate $18 to Save The Children, a charity.
  • An offer of $12 when signing up for Hulu at a $5.99 discount
  • Get $10 for signing up for Acorns

InboxDollars Hulu Offer

InboxDollars Save The Children Offer

Playing Games On InboxDollars

InboxDollars rewards you for playing games, though the majority are for playing games.

Remember, you’re here to make money though, so skip those games you need to pay for.

InboxDollars #Winit Codes

InboxDollars WinIt Codes

If you have a Swagbucks or Mypoints account, you’ll be familiar with the concept of #Winit codes. Swagbucks has Swagcodes and Mypoints has their codes as well.

However, WinIt codes are only for sweepstakes spins, unlike Swagbucks and Mypoints which give you actual cash. #Winit codes are publically posted every so once in a while so that you can redeem them on the InboxDollars website.

Cashback Offers On InboxDollars

Though InboxDollars has a cashback section for online shopping, we’d recommend either Ebates [$10 bonus] and BeFrugal [$10 bonus] to get the highest cashback offers.

Ebates and BeFrugal are primarily cashback sites, and thus have better negotiating power over cashback rates with retailers. They also both give you a $10 bonus, so that’s quite nice.

InboxDollars Learn + Earn Polls and Completing My List Tasks

You can answer polls each day for a few cents and complete tasks on the My List feature.

InboxDollars My List Tasks

This is similar to the Swagbucks’s To Do List and Mypoint’s Daily 5.

On InboxDollars, you get $0.50 when you complete all items on the To Do List.

InboxDollars Learn And Earn

There’s also a quick daily poll you can answer for the Learn and Earn.

InboxDollars Scratch Card

InboxDollars Scratch Card

You’ll get rewarded scratch cards sometimes in InboxDollars. I won a few cents from a couple of games that I played.

InboxDollars Scratch and Win

There are three levels of scratch cards in InboxDollars based on the amount of money you can earn from the scratch card. There are levels for $10, $25, and $100.

You earn “points” that allow you to redeem a scratchcard, and the more points you earn, the higher level of a scratch card you can use. You’ll have to decide whether you want to go for a big win or small ones. It’s up to you.

InboxDollars Inactivity And Reactivation

InboxDollars renders your account inactive after 10 days of non-use. You have 6 months from the date of inactivity to request your account be reinstated. If you don’t ask to reinstate your account, your points and dollars will be forfeited.

Make sure you earn some points every 10 days to make sure your account is not deactivated.

How Much Money Can You Make From InboxDollars?

If you go hard on InboxDollars, you can cash out in a month or two.

If you do the bare minimum of searching or clicking on PaidEmail, then it might take many months to cash out. It all depends on how much time you spend on the site.

How Does InboxDollars Pay Out?

InboxDollars pays out in minimums of $30 with a $3 processing fee. If you want to waive the fee, you can wait until $40 to cash out.

InboxDollars pays out in checks, bank deposit, gift cards, and donations. They do not pay out in Paypal and Amazon gift cards though.

It takes 10-16 days for InboxDollars to process your payment, which is issued every Wednesday. Once it’s issued, a check should arrive in 1-2 weeks. Bank deposits should take 3-5 business days to be deposited after they are processed.

InboxDollars Gold Members

As mentioned above, once you cash out once, you’ll become a gold member. You can then cash out via ePayment through TANGO. If you’re a gold member, you’ll get an email the day the payment is processed by 3 PM CST.

InboxDollars Gold members get paid in about a week versus the 2-3 weeks it takes for normal members to get paid.

Gold members will also get random membership referrals from those who join without clicking on a referral link. You’ll also get twice the amount of spin sweepstakes entries when you get screened out for a survey.

InboxDollars Referral Program

InboxDollars Referral Bonus

InboxDollars has a similar referral program to Swagbucks.

You get paid $1 per friend you refer and 40 percent of all their future earnings up to 5 friends. Then you get paid 10 percent of your earnings after that. IMO, Swagbucks is easier to use than InboxDollars and also pays you $3 per signup and also 10 percent of all their future earnings.

InboxDollars Pros And Cons

InboxDollars Pros

They pays in actual dollars and gives you $5 as a sign-up bonus.

You can also get paid to use their search engine. For getting paid to search, I do Bing Rewards first, then Swagbucks, and then you can do InboxDollars if you have more searches to do.

You can make money just by watching their videos and muting them. If you’re extra enterprising, you can watch videos on InboxDollars in conjunction with Swagbucks video and Mypoints video to make triple the money with video.

InboxDollars Cons

The payout minimum is higher than other survey and money making sites. Pinecone Research’s is $3, Swagbucks’s and Mypoint’s minimum is $5 to get paid out, and Survey Junkie’s is $10. InboxDollars sits at the higher end of the minimum payment threshold at $30 — in fact, it’s the highest payout threshold I’ve yet to see on a make money online or survey site.

They don’t offer Paypal or Amazon gift cards, which are my preferred payment sources.

InboxDollars doesn’t have a great mobile website, so if you’re looking to earn money when you’re waiting in line, on the bus and other transport, etc, you might want to try more mobile friendly survey sites.

You also have to be active every 10 days or else be deactivated. That’s one of the fewest days to become inactive out of any survey site we’ve reviewed.

Survey, Search Engine, and Making Money Online Tips

Make A Separate Email/Phone Number For These Sites

Some survey and money making sites will send you emails about new opportunities. You don’t want your inbox to become too cluttered, so it’s a good idea to make another email for these sites.

To make it easy on yourself, create an email called “[email protected]” so you can remember your survey email easily.

Sometimes sites will call you about offers, so create a Google Voice account that will house all your survey phone calls (which you can just ignore).

Only Do The High Paying And Passive Activities On The Site

Be sure to do the math on how much you’d earn per hour per survey. Don’t just randomly do surveys, make sure you are earning an hourly you are ok with.

You can also just do the passive activities such as using their search engine, which is something you’d do anyway!

Open One Account Per Household IP Address

A lot of survey sites use fraud detection software to check if you have multiple accounts. Some of them check if there are multiple accounts using the same IP address.

Each computer in a household will have the same IP address so the fraud software might flag you for multiple accounts if someone else in your household has an account as well. You can differentiate the devices in your network with sub-IPs, but an outsider cannot tell if different people are using these sub-IPs.

Don’t Expect To Get Rich From Survey Sites

There are scammy sites out there that will say you can make a full-time income just from survey sites, but that’s not true. Survey sites and sites that pay you to make money are great for a small amount of supplemental extra income, but don’t expect to get rich from InboxDollars.

Don’t quit your day job to do survey sites, it won’t work! Remember, survey sites are for extra income, not to replace your full-time income.
